This is the 10th annual racing of The Divide. Although we have made a few changes to how we enter and exit town and adding waves to the start by race distance the core reason why riders keep coming back remains the same; 1. An Affordable Race 2. Overall and Age Group Awards 3. An OVER- Marked Course 4. Professional results 5. A Challenging and Fun Course! 6. Next to ZERO traffic 7. Rolling Hills for days 8. Benefits go to the Manton Cross Country program.
This years MANTON TRUCK SHOW has moved their date back a week onto their original date that corresponds with our race. This even actually begins Friday night as the Trucks begin to arrive and they are arranged in the downtown streets and their owners prep them for show. This makes Saturday a perfect time to come up to pre-ride some of the course and take the family to tour the trucks. You have to go up into them to fully appreciate them, especially the themed trucks! https://mantonmichigan.com/truck-show/
2024 is an EVEN year, which means we ยด ll be going clockwise around the Outer Loop and climbing the face El Diablo. There will be an aid station at the top with freeze pops and bags of ice ready to hand out as you pass.
There will be three aid stations on the course; two on the outer loop and one in everyone favorite section, Gilbert Corners. Which means you’ll never have to go farther than 10 miles between aid stations! Aid stations will have water, Gatorade, pickles and pickle juice, defizzed coke. Our workers at the top of El Diablo will be ready to hand out ice cubes in a sandwich bag or freeze pops as you pass.
As always we will begin results as age divisions begin to be filled and there are enough finishers for a small crowd.
