It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the cancellation of the 2026 Divide race.

This past spring we had historic flooding and many of the back roads in our area are still not open. I spent countless hours driving back roads trying to find a solution or work around but nothing worked out. Don will be in touch with everyone that registered to give you a refund. Best of luck with the rest of your summer season of racing.

We do plan on being back for the 2027 season!

This year we will not visit “Gilbert Corners.”
The new distances will be;
– 23 mile short course
– 32 mile intermediate
– 52 mile long course
Our 23 mile group will do the south end of the outer loop and then head back to town.

The long course will exit the outer loop to the west and cross over N. 29 Road to Meauwataka General Store which is a new experience for this area and our riders.

Strava routes and QR Codes to each will be provided.

After the Bear Claw Epic‘s race creators stepped down the race floundered around for a couple years, but is now back and will be as strong as ever! The BCE will held the 2nd weekend in October. The 2024 date is Saturday, Oct. 12th. Race registration will be up soon @ michianatiming.com.
