This 5k is held in conjunction with the MANTON TRUCK SHOW.  The MANTON TRUCK SHOW is a family friendly event with lots of activities for everyone.  Last year’s show included, live country music, and lots of trucks and trailers for the kids of all ages to explore and some you can even climb around inside.

Race Course:  The 5k starts in front of the Old grain mill and heads south for a few blocks before runners taking two lefts and head north to the Mill Pond trails.  Turning left again, heading West, the course turns into a two track and crosses railroad tracks and then a bridge at the historic location of the old Mill Pond dam.  Next the course turns South/left and runners will take the first available left and then right, snaking your way back into town.  The final tenth of a mile, runners will turn left onto Main St. and finish in front of First Merit Bank.  This course is flat and fast!  …perfect for those looking for a new personal best or for someone looking for an easier course for their first ever 5k!
